Re: Standardization of the Dorsal Format

Please take note that the Philippine Clearing House Corporation (PCHC) will be implementing the use of standard dorsal format for personal and commercial checks. This aims to put order in accomplishing the required information/data at the back of the check.

Tentative date of implementation is September 1, 2011. All checks to be issued by current account depositors and all checks to be negotiated/deposited by the clients starting the said date should bear the new dorsal format.

For those who still have checks and those who have issued post-dated checks bearing the old dorsal format, we encourage you to request for a checkbook with the new dorsal format and replace the ones you have already issued.

An announcement will be made with regard to the final implementation date.
