- Make sure you have somebody in the Philippines who can be your co-maker or attorney-in-fact. Your co-maker:
- Can be your spouse, relative or friend
- Must have the capacity to pay for the balance of the loan.
- Completely fill out the online application form before submitting it.
- Prepare the following documents duly authenticated by the Philippine Consulate:
- Latest Income Tax Return
- Employment Certificate
- Special Power of Attorney
- Exit Pass

- Regularly check your email, as correspondence will be sent to you via email. We will also keep in touch with your co-maker and notify her/him of the status of your loan application.
- To minimize cost, simply scan the duly authenticated documents and send them via email to your BPI Direct Loan Officer.
- You have the option to personally sign the documents yourself or assign an attorney-in-fact to do so.
- If you are personally signing, we will send the documents via mail and wait for you to mail the documents back with your signature.
- If your co-maker is to sign, ensure that you have a duly authenticated Special Power of Attorney
