  Open a Deposit Account  
  1.
You can open a deposit account in two ways:
 
    A.
Through the Internet
 
    1.
Connect to the Internet from anywhere in the world.
 
    System Requirements for you to get connected in the Internet:
 
    a.
A computer with a modem
 
    b.
Internet access
 
    c.
An approved browser that permits secured transactions
  • Netscape 4.75 & up
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 w/ Service Pack & up

    Go to www.bpidirect.com
     
        3.
    Go to Deposit Accounts page and choose the type of account you wish to open.
     
        4.
    Fill out the form completely and click on the submit button. Wait for the confirmation page to appear to ensure that your application has been received by the system.
     
        5.
    Wait for email instructions on how you can complete your account opening.

     
        B.
    Through the Phone
     
        1.
    Dial 89-100 for Metro Manila, 1-800-188-89100, our domestic toll-free number or + 63 + 2 + 89-10000, the International Access Code when calling from abroad.
     
        2.
    Press "0" to talk to a phone banker.
     
        3.
    Phone banker will ask for account information from you through an interview.
     
        4.
    Phone banker will submit the information to your nominated branch of convenience.
     
        5.
    Wait for a call from a phone banker. You will be asked to proceed to your nominated branch to complete your account opening. To be able to access your account via the Internet, make sure that you enroll your account in BPI Express Online.

    If you are in the Philippines
     
        A.
    Upon receipt of an e-mail or call from a phone banker, you will be asked to go to your nominated branch for your initial deposit within 14 banking days.
     
        B.
    When visiting the branch, you will be asked to sign your signature cards upon presentment of 2 valid IDs.
     
        Valid IDs:
  • Driver's License
  • Passport
  • Credit Card
  • PRC/Professional License Card
  •  
       
    C.

    Upon signing the signature card, you will be given your BPI Direct ATM Card and will be asked to key in your Personal Identification Number (PIN) for the ATM.

    If you are outside the Philippines
     
        A.
    Await email instructions on how you can complete your account opening.
     
        B.
    Follow the steps provided in the email.
     
        C.
    Your BPI Direct ATM Card will be available upon your visit to the Philippines as it is a requirement that you personally visit your nominated branch to claim your ATM Card. You will also have to present any of the following valid ID's:
     
       
  • Driver's License
  • Passport
  • Credit Card
  • PRC/Professional License Card
  •  
       
    You will also receive a BPI Direct Info Card. This Info Card contains all the things that you have to do in order to claim your BPI Direct ATM Card upon your visit to the Philippines. Simply present your Info Card together with your valid ID's to your nominated branch.

     
        D.
    Upon presentation of your BPI Direct Info Card, you will be asked to fill out a Signature Card. Upon signing the signature card, you will be given your BPI Direct ATM Card and will be asked to key in your PIN number for the ATM.
     

     
     

      Enroll Your BPI/BPI Family Savings Bank Account in BPI Express Online  
      Do you have an account with BPI or BPI Family Savings Bank? Enroll it in BPI Express Online to be able to monitor the balances of your accounts via the Internet. You will also be able to take advantage of the many online services BPI Express Online offers.

    • You can enroll your individual, sole proprietorship, or joint (and/or) accounts.
    • The following accounts are not eligible for enrollment:
      • Peso-Denominated, Passbook-Based accounts
      • Multi-Earner accounts
      • Joint (and) accounts
      • In Trust For (ITF) accounts
      • BPI/BFB-100
      • Gold Savings
    • You can enroll a total of 20 Savings Accounts and 20 Checking Accounts.

      Trade Stocks and Fixed Securities Online  
      Trade stocks and fixed securities online with BPI Trade, your Online Investments channel. BPI Trade gives you the capability and flexibility to manage your own stock and fixed income security portfolio. With BPI Trade, you can:

    • Access live stock market information during Philippine Trading Hours.
    • Enter your Stock Market and Fixed Income Orders Online.
    • Check the status on all your Stock Market and Fixed Income Orders.
    • Keep track of your Cash Balance, Stock Position, and Fixed Income Position, updated as you trade.
    • Access the latest Reports published by the BPI Trade Research team.

    • Completely fill out the online application form found on their website and wait for email instructions regarding your application.
     

     
     

      Send Money to the Philippines  
      As of now, you can send money to the Philippines by visiting the BPI Express Remittance Center near you. Click here to view the locations of the BPI Remittance Centers.
